These Skullcandy earbuds connect to your Apple device via a lightening connector, with the usual on/off, volume, multifunction control block of towards the right ear bud. I was actually pretty surprised by the clarity of sound provided by these earbuds, while listening to my goto set of tunes I noticed sounds that I have not heard since I used higher end, closed ear headphones. These are comfortable to wear and since they are wired you don’t have to worry about inconsistency with connections or battery life. Other size replacement buds are provided fir different size ear canals. I am very happy with these earbuds as they sound great and are built with a high level of quality. Pros: - awesome sound - wired connection - no batteries to charge - supplied alternative fitting earbuds Cons: - none at this time

Skull candy in ear wired earbuds for my iPhone & iPod work great, fit in ears perfectly & comes with a couple different size rubber pieces, lasted through my workout stood secure didn’t have to constantly stick them back into my ears cause they pop out when I get sweaty, they are sweat proof , sound quality is great & people calling me can get me good & clear & via versa, no issues with having to use my phone without them. They are not noise canceling but still did a good job blocking noise. I would consider getting a 2nd pair so I don’t have to keep switching from my gym bag & my everyday bag

I got the skullcandy wired lighting(iphone) earbuds to see if it would fit/stay in place better while using my motorcycle helmet. The included iphone earbuds just do not stay in, and eventually slide out of my ear after a certain amount of times of looking left or right, which is extremely frustrating. Never mind trying AirPods. The skullcandy fits very well and doesn’t slide when putting on the helmet, and it stays even after looking left/right many many times. It comes with 2 other replacement sizes but the one already attached fit my ears well. Another bonus is that the buttons stick out for the volume and pause/action buttons. On the Apple earbuds, they are printed on so there have been plenty of times I’ve pressed either volume up/down when trying to pause/rewind, or pressed pause when trying to raise/lower the volume - which is extremely frustrating since I cannot look down at the cable, it is important to know which button you are pressing without having to pull over. You can feel the 3 buttons and even though the volume up/down are similar, the pause/action button feels very different, which means i can quickly pause/rewind/forward easily without accidentally pressing the volume buttons, and vice versa. As far as actually using it and how it sounds - it’s pretty good. Because the tips fit so well, it essentially creates a nice block of outside sounds. This is great when it comes to listening to music - however - it also means that if you’re having a voice call, your voice sounds a little weird. This doesn’t mean the actual device sounds weird, no - that is not what I’m saying. What I’m saying is that your own ears hears your own voice oddly, because the earbuds fit so well. You do not get this on the Apple AirPods/earbuds, but then again, i can’t get those to stay on. So it is a bit of a trade off. With that said, I’m exclusively using these earbuds just for riding to listen to music (obviously I don’t make calls during this) and use different headsets for phone calls to avoid hearing myself in an awkward way. The other con is i cannot just pull off my helmet with them in, as it will tug a little on them and the replaceable ear pieces can pop off. However, easily fixed by simply taking them off before removing the helmet - which is just something i have to get used to. Overall, one of the better wired headsets to use for music/gps when riding w/a helmet!

This is a very nice set of wired, in-ear earbuds from Skullcandy. What’s great about these? For those with iPhones, THEY HAVE A LIGHTNING CONNECTOR!! Woohoo! No need for any sort of adapter. What could be easier?? Volume up/down, forward/back track, answer/hang up calls or connecting with your virtual assistant can all be done with just 1 2 or 3 easy taps of the 3 button in-line controller. This comfy set of earbuds comes with 3 pairs of different size tips so you can find just the right size to fit in your ears. Because they’re squishy, they fit well in my ears during my long walks. I don’t usually sweat, but I do dance around a bit during “those” songs and the earbuds stay secure in my ears. Granted, the sound quality is not the best I’ve heard; they definitely lack that rich bass, but the sound is definitely clear. They are also noise-isolating (not canceling) - because the great fit can block a lot of the droning noise around you. I know what you’re thinking - why get wired buds? Well, for me, I sometimes forget to charge my Bluetooth earbuds so when I want to use them, they’re not ready; and most Bluetooth buds I’ve tried, don’t stay in my ears or are uncomfortable. So these are a very good choice for me. I am very pleased with these Skullcandy wired earbuds and would recommend them to those searching for wired earbuds. Definitely give them a try!

I have always been baffled by people that rant and rave about how much they like Apple's design for the earbuds that were formerly included with iPhones. Enter the Skullcandy Set Lightning. These earbuds are a budget-friendly, quality, wired earbud/headset option for your apple lightning products. These buds are in-ear-canal style and the included rubber tips allow you to choose a more custom/suitable fit for your ear. The microphone and buttons all operated well, and I didn't notice a huge difference from other wired iPhone buds here. The sound quality and range from the buds themselves aren't huge, but these are great as backups to your expensive ear cans, budget replacements because you've lost your wired ones, or an excellent solution for someone like me that can't get Apple buds to stay in my ears. I did notice that the rubber ear canal boots didn't always inspire confidence, and there were a few times using them that I had to re-adjust or re-insert after falling out. Overall this is a good value, and these are a decent solution.

Although these are corded vs wireless, the sound makes up for it. Rich, deep bass, comfortable ear tips, that really stay in the ears. And since they're corded, you don't have to worry about them falling out and getting lost somewhere (for instance if you're mowing the yard). Skullcandy makes great products and they've done it once again.

There are different tiers of earphones, and for the tier that these would fall in, they're the highest of the high in my opinion. I've owned Skullcandy in ear earphones since they first ever existed and bought them directly from Skullcandy. They've always been a reliable brand, and these are as reliable and good sounding as ever. Of course, in-ear typically sounds better than non in-ear which is advantageous already in that sense, but these are great for work outs because of their design. I have multiple versions of AirPods as well and they actually fall out pretty often which is annoying while jogging or working out and having to worry about them falling out. These are fitted pretty well and even if they do fall out, because they're technically part of a wire, it won't just plop onto the floor. You can honestly pay this same price for knock-off/cheap third party brands on Amazon or ebay, but why do that when you can get a reliable and trustworthy brand like Skullcandy for less than $40? Highly highly recommended, even to use just for working out or as a back-up pair.

Just received my SkullCandy in-Ear Set Lightning headset yesterday and I've been testing them out for call/sound quality over the last day. Must say that I'm very impressed with the this earbud set. Very simple and easy to use. Simply just plug them into the bottom of your iPhone or iPad that has the lightning port on the bottom. This set is strictly for the iOS operating system not Android. The call quality was superb. All callers on the other end of my calls could hear me loud and clear. There was no static whatsoever. I also love the fact that there's good amount of bass (not overpowering) but just enough especially while listening to music. Very powerful and clear sounding. This would be perfect for those just chilling around the house or going for a walk. Inside the package is additional ear tips that can be swapped out for the best fit. There's a small user guide that's also included in the packaging as well. Reminder: This is only for the iOS/iPadOS systems for iPhones. And for iPads must be older iPads that has the lightning ports as the new iPads are USB-C.

Fills the Apple gap left behind by their removal of the headphones from new iPhones. Lightning connector makes this super easy and you never have to worry about battery life and the built-in mic is sufficient for conversations. Callers were able to easily hear me. Overall audio response was definitely on par for the budget and I definitely didn’t feel upset listening through them. Definitely missing some highs and lows but beyond serviceable for the price. Everything I listened to was enjoyable and also worked well with the iPad. This was absolutely perfect for use with the iPad for things like piano apps.

One of the things I realized I missed about wired headsets/earbuds/etc. is that you get more volume from them vs. bluetooth. I guess I don't know exactly why, but it doesn't matter, these are nice. I find listening to more music and whatnot since the pandemic started, and as such, find my typical choice is running out of battery power often. And then when I need to talk on a phone call, I cannot. Being wired works without this stress. The only thing I sort of wish for is a longer cord. It is shorter than I'd like but maybe being too long is worse for getting tangled up or something. The sound quality is awesome, and I am very much a fan of Skullcandy with the last two things I've used of theirs. Thank you!

More often that not, I use wireless earbuds/pods, but after losing my original, wired lightning earphones to a child, I was looking for a replacement pair as the "I forgot to charge the earbuds" backup. These Skullcandy earbuds are a great replacement! They sound very good, they fit well and the accompanying earpieces allow for a close fit that isolates you from outside noise. I also tested the speaker on a couple conference calls & folks reported no issues whatsoever in both hearing and understanding me. It has the standard in-line controls that allow one to control what you're listening to and adjust volume, etc.

They did not last my daugher a week. The one side died then the other junk headphones

I highly recommend these Skullcandy earbuds. They are high quality and my music sounds crystal clear. The earbuds fit very nicely into my ears and stay there.

These headphone have many different earbud tips, I found the medium size to git me the best. They are sung and block out a bit of background noise because of the isolation. They sound great and I really appreciate the inline mic and controls. Calls have been clear, I think the microphone placement really helps with that. They are sweat and water resistant (IPX4) too, if you want to use them while working out. Sometimes you just can’t beat the simplicity of a wired connection, and these have been working great for conference calls. The value is amazing so I decided to purchase another set to keep in my bag.

I needed a pair of inexpensive headphones for taking calls on my iPhone. The look and design of these are perfectly nice and they sound okay, but I’m having a very difficult time getting the left earbud to stay in my ear. Granted, this might be entirely due to the specific size and shape of my ear, but I’ve never encountered a fit problem to this degree with any other set of earbuds I’ve ever owned. The ‘buds come with 4 different sets of silicone tips, which is really nice. Unfortunately, I think I need something slightly larger than the largest set included here. There’s something about the design of the earbud itself - it’s quite small, making it a bit easier to fall out if you can’t get a good seal in the ear canal. This will not be a huge problem for just sitting and taking calls or listening to a podcast or something. But trying to take a walk in the neighborhood was a failure, so using these to work out or do any moderate form of exercise is a total no go. My advice would be to hang on to your receipt and check the fit using the included tips right off the bat. Because if you can get a good seal these would be pretty great earbuds at this price level. The sound is perfectly fine and a thousand percent improvement over just using the built in phone speaker for calls. They’re really light and they’ve got in-line volume and play/pause controls. I will say, even if I could get a great seal in my left ear I think there’s still going to be the issue of cord noise when exercising. By that I mean every time the cord bumps your clothing you’re going to hear it, and that’s been my experience even with much more expensive wired headphones. So not sure I agree with their whole “sport” advertising there.

I use these when working out at the gym and they stay put even when sweating. They fit better than any other set of wired earbuds I own. Do not expect them to reproduce bass at all. They are good for midrange and higher but really lack the ability to reproduce bass. They handle phone calls well and controls on the right bud allow volume and pause of tracks. Great set of workout earbuds but I would not recommend them for everyday all-day use.
