They're ok but I prefer Sony. Not a big difference on noise-canceling.

Average at best. Spend a little extra and get the good headphones. Bose or Sony will do just fine.

I purchased these on Jan 18 2020 and after using these only 3 TIMES one side has already stopped working. Best buy did not want to return these and skull candy is saying I have to wait 3 weeks before I hear from them. Not happy at all after spending good money for these.

Decided to get a pair after my old pair of Beats stop taking a charge. Two weeks in I can’t get a full workout without a muffling noise in my ear and sounds like a blown speaker. Volume at full blast is sub par. Would not recommend

These headphones are a huge step up for Skullcandy. I’ve always seen them as brightly-colored earbuds set out as impulse purchases, but these Venue headphones really break the mold. If you prefer to see a video, here is my review in video form: https://youtu.be/5TrX_LJ_raE
The Great: Bluetooth connectivity is solid, and their battery-life indication seems to be spot on. They have a 4-level LED battery indicator, and after 8.5 hours of listening only a single light went out.
The Audio: Sound reproduction is very good. I find that I like a fuller mid-section to the EQ than these naturally reproduce, but hopefully that can be corrected for with additional EQ apps on the phone. The high- and low-end of the spectrum sound great, but missing the mid-level frequencies can make things a little hollow. However, I make this comparison after using headphones that cost almost 3x as much for the past couple of years.
Noise-Cancelling: These are not the most sound-isolating headphones that I’ve ever used, but they are also far less expensive than high-end brands. You do get a little more sound from running water or household machinery (dishwasher, washing machine, etc.), but not a lot. The only point that I found frustrating was walking outside while it is windy. Doing so gives you the effect of old home movies when wind blows over the microphone, making a rushing sound that washes out most others.
Sizing: These headphones are a little limited in their adjustable sizing. My head is about a size 7.5 (~23” around), and I have to have them fully extended to fit. If your head is much larger (or you want to wear them with a hat), I’d advise looking elsewhere.
Audio Controls: The controls on these headphones are fine. The volume and skip functions use the same buttons, so you have to hold the button for about 4 seconds to skip forward or back. This is fine for music, but not great for skipping commercials in podcasts.
All in all, I’d say these are the best “budget” noise-cancelling headphones that I’ve tried, doing even better than the Sony 700 series. If you can fit them on your ears, I’d recommend buying these over even more expensive models from bigger companies.

I ended up returning these for the Bose QC 700 headphones because the price is well worth the quality. The noise cancellation on these have a low-level hiss that is very annoying. Go with the Sony or Bose headphones, the price is well worth it.
Do not buy these.
