Waste of money!!!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The ear pieces don't fit and really made my ears hurt. There is no bass to speak of. They sound like two tin cans on a string. The volume is weak also. These earbuds flat out suck!

Excellent For Working Out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The skull candy Xt wireless earphones are great. I am a person who sweats a tune at the gym and these defiantly do the trick. They stay in despite my waterfall of sweat pouring down my head. I will say that after about 1.5 of working out there was some discomfort in my ear due to the way they sit in my ear. Another complaint that I have is that they wear not loud enough at the gym at least. In my house and walking to school they sound fine. Overall really good for working out if you sweat a lot.

Very good product
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this headset mostly for running and to use in gym. So far, these headphones has met or exceed my expectations. Need to get used to the headphones for first few days and you should be good. Some of the reputed brands which has similar sound/features is almost double the price (I bought these for 70) I use it almost everyday. These will give you good quality music and stick with you while working out. Battery holds approx 4-5 hours depending on music loudness. For me, Bluetooth range is apporx 10 meters or 30 feet with plastic case to iPhone. (which I wish it could be little more - like highend competitors) So that I can keep my phone in locker and come to workout at the other end of gym. Neverthless, for the price as I said these headphones meet and exceed my expectations. I will be happy if these headphones performs the same way 2 years from now (like sound, battery, bluetooth)

Returning this purchase.
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I want to start off by saying I am a huge fan of Skullcandy! I have multiple pairs in different styles. Definitely my favorite brand of headphones! So you can imagine how excited I was to see they were coming out with a Bluetooth sport Earbud. In the time I waited for the product to be released I purchased a cheap pair of some no name brand to hold me over. These were no where near the quality I get from Skullcandy so I could not wait to buy the xtfree and be done with this generic product. 6 hour battery life, tech to keep the buds in my ears, what's not to like when reading the product description?! The day finally came, I had them in my hands. I tried them out the first day at the gym, 1.5 hours max. I kept having to readjust them, the sound quality is diminished do the Earbuds constantly breaking the seal in my ear. The band is super noisy while running, with and without the adjustable clip. Then the next day I try them again, before I get to my run, around an hour into my workout, the battery starts to die. Super is disappointing. Figured maybe they didn't get a full charge. Nope, made sure they were fully charged, I only get about 2.5 hours out of them. This is sad to me considering I get better sound quality and battery life from a generic brand of earbuds. The xtfree is no where near the quality I expected when buying them for my use. The only good things I can say about this product is that the build seems very nice and the bass sounds better than the other earbuds. But it is not near the quality of other Skullcandy buds I have. I do believe the problem I am having is due to the fin lock. I am disappointed this in not interchangeable without ripping or cutting it off. I really do not want to do that so I will be returning the xtfree, and sticking with the off brand. Not the outcome I was hoping for. This has lowered my trust in purchasing their products in the future. I do hope you have a better experience with these than I have.

Skullcandy never disappoints
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I read the other reviews and have no clue what the second person was talking about. There's absolutely no problem with sound quality in these earbuds. The issue is with the sound profile in iPhones. These earbuds sound great! The bass thumps, mids (vocals) and high frequency sounds in music is crisp and clear. Long story short, buy a pair for yourself and enjoy them! You'll love them.

Great earbuds
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought these yesterday. I almost bought a different brand name but at last glance of the earbuds that Best Buy had in stock at the store I saw the tie dye color on the earbud itself and loved it. I looked up reviews for them on my phone and saw that most of the reviews were really good. Anyway, I am so glad that I bought these. I tested them out immediately when I got home dancing madly around the house (I am not a dancer by no means) then I took off to the gym and worked out to a favorite CD with lots of sweat. They stayed in my ears no problem and they sound great. I love these earbuds. My husband liked them to and said he will be buying himself a pair.

battery life falls well short of advertised 6 hrs
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The earbuds fit fine, they stay in, and sound solid. But they don't last 6 hours. They don't last 5 hrs. You would be lucky to get 4 hours from them. I've been using mine at various volume levels and at most I am getting 3 hours 40 minutes, tops. The product support from Skullcandy does not offer any real advise on level of charging output adapters to use either. I thought maybe I needed to switch adapters in order to get an optimal charge. The device does not come with charging adapter. You only get a USB cable. So you can't be sure what voltage output might work best. I asked skullcandy twice about this and I was not given any specific information when I asked. You might get 6hrs out of them if the volume was set at it's lowest or near lowest setting, but who uses earbuds under those conditions? I'm disappointed and looking to exchange for another brand with a longer batter life.

Great for working out
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These earbuds are perfect someone who goes really hard in the gym. They have the bass Skullcandy is known for. These sound a lot better than Beats and are a fraction of the cost. The wings that help secure the headphones in your ears do cause discomfort, but if you're really focused in the gym, you'll forget all about it. The Bluetooth range is not fantastic, but will definitely do the trick for $50. I have yet to experience the problem other people are talking about where the sound cuts out every few minutes. Other than that, they are a great pair of earbuds for the price.

These have been through *heck and still sound good
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These headphones have 1. Been through the washing machine, 2. Chewed on by a puppy, and 3. Fallen out of my pocket and left outside overnight in the rain and ran over by at least 1 car. All within a 48 hour period. They still look and sound great. If you want high durability and great sound quality, I don't think you need to look any further. The bluetooth is fine, as with most bluetooth devices they only work for a short distance. Don't expect to leave the room and still get good signal.

Mixed feelings
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I really like skullcandy. Actually that is all I have purchased in the way of headphones for years. I have read and experienced the Bluetooth connection issues most people are having. I have used mine in several location and think the connection issue really has a lot to do with how much Bluetooth interference is near by. For example we have a lot of things that run on Bluetooth at home but nothing at work. This means I usually have issues at home but not at work. This is something I can work with or narrow down the exact issue. The comfort level however is not the greatest. The tabs that stick up into your ear for a secure fit are a bit too stiff and can be very uncomfortable during extended usage. Contemplating cutting them off. Overall I think it really on the person and location. I have another Bluetooth set of a different brand and have not experienced the same issues. However they don't have the same sound quality and durability as skullcandy.
