Love this installment of the James Bond 007 franchise!!! Skyfall is an entertaining spy assignment, story and movie experience. The Blu-ray|DVD|Digital Copy Combo Pack is packed with bonus featurettes, director and producer commentaries, and premiere footages. 007 reporting for duty! This definitive spy action packed thriller is a must-have and must-get.

Javier B. plays a former agent who is obsessed with destroying MI6. It's personal to him, including his actions toward the director of MI6, Judy Dench or mum. Javier B. is an excellent villain who frequently outsmarts the agency. Daniel C. sets a trap for Javier B. that works well but comes at a shockingly high price.

This steel case edition it a great collectors item or gift for any fan of the Bond franchise. Wonderful cover art and sturdy construction. Great addition to my collection. The movie itself is one of the more dramatic and emotionally charged in the series. Certainly the best of the Daniel Craig era. The plot is compelling (though at times a bit contrived), the scenes are beautifully shot with dynamic staging and the acting is superb. Great balance of action and humor, a return to form for Bond.

I have enjoyed James Bond films for a long time. I have collected all of the Bond - the good and the bad, Skyfall is one of the better Bond's in this collection. I am becoming a Craig fan not only through the 007 series but also some of his other work. In this Bond I was not disappointed. With out giving way the story this is one of the better spy flicks. Enjoy.

While not perfect by any means, Skyfall has a very nice retro touch to the film that pays homage to 50 years of Bond. It also adds considerably to the 007 back story. Many reviewers complain about the age of the cast - perhaps not recognizing this as a "passing of the torch" film. I expect to see a stable of fresh faces in the next issue in this franchise.

"Skyfall" ranks as one of the better post-Cold War Bond movies. The Brosnan films were fairly mediocre and the later Moore Bonds were laughably cartoonish. This film attempts to bring Bond into the 21st century and show that he is, indeed, fallible. I loved the backstory they provided for James Bond; the visit to his childhood home, Skyfall, really gives the character a dimension never seen before. All in all, a much better attempt than most of teh preior recent Bond films (with "Casino Royale" as the lone exception.)

Skyfall was truly a hard reboot of the Bond franchise sending it into the 21st Century with a new found style and set of personalities. D. Craig truly establishes himself as the Bond for which all others will be compared and Sam Mendes proves that a great director could bring Bond to a new level. Well Done and thanks from a lifelong Bond fan.

Already owned this on dvd, but couldn't pass up the great price of $7.99 for the Bluray steel book edition. Can't say enough about the film. Excellent acting, a villain who is not only brilliant but also generates feelings of real fear, and a story that's tight and keeps you enthralled start to finish. Well done.

Loved that this collectible includes a digital copy! Only downside is that Best Buy hasn’t worked out these steelbook collectibles to come in 4K, only BluRay. Will buy more steelbooks when I find more movies I’ve been looking for...though I do plan to buy the Star Wars series of Steelbooks!

This is one of the top 2 James Bond movies starring Daniel Craig. My personal favorite being Casino Royale, then Skyfall. It's a Bond movie through and through. The Steelbook packaging is really cool as well. I just picked up Spectre in the SB this week and they are both in unique, and handsome collectible packaging.

Daniel Craig puts in yet another superb performance as Agent 007, facing his most personal mission yet when the headquarters of MI6 falls under an explosive terrorist attack. The force behind the violence is a former British agent [brilliantly portrayed by Javier Bardem,with yet another weird hairdo !], seeking vengeance against bureau chief "M" [Judi Dench]. Director Sam Mendes gives us one spectacular action scene after another, culminating in an incredible showdown sequence.

This is one of the best Bond films ever, for my money. It’s grade-A on every level. Steelbook is uber cool and the 4K transfer is, as expected, magnificent. Deakins’ stunning cinematography shines more than ever

This is by far my favorite James Bond film starring Daniel Craig, which puts it in contention for my favorite Bond film period. The screenplay skillfully weaves together concerns about Bond's future with questions about M' s past, and Javier Bardem gives his best performance since No Country for Old Men.

At the height of Daniel Craig's rise in popularity as a James Bond 007 agent, he demonstrates toughness as a British secret service agent that would put him in the top 5 of James Bond 007 secret service agents all time. I am pleased to have this movie and it is quite a worthy one in the James Bond collection.

Solid entry into the Bond series, Silva is a Bond villain that ranks up there with Auric Goldfinger. While Craig is not my favorite bond, this film is in my top 3 all-time Bond movies. 1. Goldfinger 2. Goldeneye 3. Skyfall

This is much better than the dissapointing "Quantum Of Solace", WAY MUCH BETTER!! Daniel Craig NAILS it!! Javier Bardim is terrific!! He's one of the Top 5 best Bond villians ever. If you should own at least one Bond film out of the franchise, THIS IS THE ONE!

A top-notch visual refinement on an already reference-grade Blu-ray transfer (Roger Deakins is a master! BTW) with a demo-worthy 5.1 DTS HD Master Audio track from the previous release. One of the very best Bond films too. Two Thumbs up!

this is the best bond actor, and movie. The Greatest opening scene. this movie was so good i got the Daniel Craig collection which includes Skyfall, and the Sky fall steel box collectors edition. haven't open it yet. The DTS HD Master sounds so great for those of you with a home setup. a must have.

I enjoy the Bond series of films and own all of them. I have come to like Daniel Craig in the part. I wasn't crazy about T. Dalton and some of Roger Moore's films had gotten ridiculous..but that is Bond...The movie's ending left me wanting more and I believe Craig is planning another 2 films. Will be looking forward to them.

After the lackluster Quantum of Silence, Skyfall is fantastic. If Daniel Craig isn't the best James Bond then he comes awfully close. An emotional and surprising plot twist near the end I didn't see coming, but it makes sense and sets up future movies to reinvent themselves and go in new directions. Highly recommended.
