Enjoyable to watch

Disaster movies were all the rage back in the 70's and it seems like Johnson has been recreating them with modernized versions like "San Andres" (Earthquake) and now "Skyscraper" (Towering Inferno). I don't think they are going to win any awards but they are a fun way to spend a few hours with. This particular film has all of ingredients of what we expect in "The Rock's" action movies: Special effects...plenty of action...and a bit of Johnson's quirky humor. The special features include a behind the scenes look at making the film and we meet the soldier who was Johnson's inspiration for his character who lost his leg in a military engagement. My wife and son enjoyed the film as well and it provided family movie night fun for us.
