Good movie with decent concept but some of the plot ideas are well played out. Nice twist at the end thoguh so check it out when its on sale.

Dwayne Johnson leads the cast of SKYSCRAPER as former FBI Hostage Rescue Team leader and U.S. war veteran Will Sawyer, who now assesses security for skyscrapers. On assignment in China he finds the tallest, safest building in the world suddenly ablaze, and he's been framed for it. A wanted man on the run, Will must find those responsible, clear his name and somehow rescue his family who is trapped inside the building...above the fire line.

The DVD worked as designed and the 4K picture quality was excellent. Movie was filled with action but in some parts not realistic.

It's a ok movie with a nice steelbook. The action is good but story could be a lot better. I got on sale so it was worth a pick up.

I have always loved disaster movies, and have all that are available on DVD or replaced them with blu-rays when available. This movie is very well put together and it seems to just fly by I was enjoying it so. The 3D is very good, except for a few scenes for instances in offices, ect..but when demand for 3D was needed, those scenes really stood out and some great pop-outs. I would recommend this, it's a great 2 hours of entertainment.

This movie was certainly a new role for Dwayne Johnson, who plays a former FBI tactical agent who is haunted by the decision he made on his last FBI action in the field. His dedication to his family that he's made since being let go by the FBI shows in all the near impossible feats that he pulls off to save his family. In addition to the owner and builder of the building where the movie takes place. Definitely worth seeing!

This is not a bad movie, just been so many like this before. Give it a chance. It stars the rock, one of the greatest people ever.

It was an okay movie, I probably Should've waited until it was on Netflix, but it was on sale so I couldn't pass it up.

Dwayne "The Rock' Johnson plays a security specialist hired to evaluate a building for insurance qualification. Unbeknownst to him someone has a devious agenda for the buildings owner. During the course of the film this agenda places his family in danger. He eventually saves his family and then the day. The identity of the men on the inside was quite easy to figure out. Other than that the movie is enjoyable.

I did not watch this movie, but I had gotten it for my kids who said it was typical The Rock action, but nothing special.

Huge fan of the rock but this movie was meh from beginning to end. Pretty boring storyline. All action and explosions

I did not expect much at all from this movie when I saw the previews, but it was a lot better than I expected it to be.

Despite previous movies with Dwayne Johnson, this one stands out as his character is not over bearing (winning everything, being on top) and the character is actually sensitive in respect to family and people. His character consistently has to overcome obstacles just to make ends meet creates a "very edge of the seat" action/adventure movie and is one that I will definitely will watch again. Very good movie!!

I wouldn't look any further than a classic Hollywood style production with unbelievable, unrealistic special effects.

The basic plot of this movie is one that has been used before. People trapped in a high rise building. What I really enjoyed about this movie was the much newer style special affects. Once again I thank Universal and Best Buy for making a 3d version of this movie available in North America. If you suffer from strong vertigo watch out....the up high scenes is where the 3d really stood out.

The movie is largely predictable but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun enjoying it. Best viewed when you switch off your brain and don’t think to hard on what is taking place on the screen. From a visual and sound standpoint it is a blast though when viewed in 4K and a booming system. It won’t win any awards for ground breaking but as a popcorn flick worth the time and ride.

The effects, sound, and picture quality on this are all spot-on, and when viewed on my 75" 4K display, the upconverted images look clear colorful, and well-detailed. The 3D in this movie is solid, and provides an ample sense of depth. The audio utilizes all channels in heavy action scenes, encompassing the viewer within the action on-screen! LFE gets a nice workout with explosions.

Not bad for a disaster film - the acting is good but the scenarios are a little far fetched but the good guys win

reminds me of a cross between original Poseidon Adventure and original Towering Inferno. good special effects

This is not the the best movie, but it's well done overall and entertaining. Check it out. A fun watch.
