There are times I open a new Bluray and find the disc loose inside due to broken teeth on the spindle . These steelbooks not only have a sturdier outside but the disc holder is much better . As far as the movie is concerned , it stars "The Rock" , need I say more .

The Rock does good movies. This movie was entertaining and also a tribute to handicapped people. Plus it has a positive view on life and continuing on after tragedy. I felt the writing could have been better and maybe the directing. Still a good movie.

It was what I expected with lots of explosions and special effects. If you have seen any of the Diehard movies, you have seen this movie ... but I like Diehard movies. Besides the Rock seems more intimidating than Bruce Willis ... a much bigger dude.

Great cinematography! Solid writing and acting. Loved seeing the Rock acting in a more vulnerable way. Genuinely suspenseful, fun action, and an awesome ride. As good the second time watching it! Definitely inspired by Die Hard.

Special effects not withstanding, it seemed like I had seen every part of the movie before. The bar for these types of movies has been set pretty high and either the story line or the directing has to be spectacular in order to rate good reviews.

This movie lives up to it's reputation of "sit- on- the- edge- of- your- chair" action. Dwayne Johnson does it again. And the most convenient part was being able to stop in at Best Buy and purchase this movie without having my Best Buy credit card on me!!!

if you liked towering inferno or die hard, you will love this movie, it kinda has little tributes to both in it, but this one can definitely stand on its own. the story is really good and the special effects are top notch, so sit back, relax and go for it

Was this movie plot the most fantastic in the world? No. But the plot was sufficient enough to deliver an entertaining, action packed, heart stopping, "gotta see it again" movie! The cast was great and Dwayne Johnson was perfect as the lead.

Good action movie, characters well developed, several surprises, some stunts border on the unbelieveable but we are talking about the rock, great sound and visuals plot a little obvious but still a realy good movie. I had the blue ray version

If you like Dwayne Johnson's other movies, then you should like this one too. There is some good action. The scenes looking down from the building are freaky, I think the HDR looks good in this movie.

The basic premise of the story is similar to the Die Hard movie (i.e. a heist film), but the story is different. The film is relatively short, and I felt like it could have delved more into some aspects of the characters. Overall, it was a good show.

So Loved this movie I have watched it three times now I highly recommend it worth every cent I will not tell you what it’s about that’s how good it is of course it’s got the rock in it am 100% satisfied

There's a lot of fun to be had in this big-budget action thriller that never takes itself too seriously. I'm a big fan of Dwayne Johnson and he doesn't disappoint in this action packed film. Even better in 4K A+++ film for the entire family.

Once again the Rock delivers. This is a great action movie with awesome special effects. And, if you were a fan of the iconic Towering Inferno, you will enjoy this movie too. Its a great movie to purchase as you can watch over an over again.

Look, I'm a fan of DJ and cannot in my right mind say any of his movies are terrible. This one is the upper echelon even if it gets a bit nutty in parts. Honestly, the cinematography and set pieces are really good.

I saw this movie in the theater, and it was smokin! When it came out in blu-ray, It was delivered by mail on its release date. I played it on my 4K TV, using my 4K blu-ray player, and the upconversion to 4K was awesome. Thanks Best Buy.

It has pretty good story with great family values. Some of the scenes will keep you holding your breath. You feel like that you are inside the high skyscraper.

Actually, this is a Christmas gift for my husband but since he likes action/adventure movies and he likes Dwanye Johnson, I am sure he will enjoy this movie. It seems to be right up his alley.

There was so much action, the camera angles, the heights and scenes were anxiety inducing. I had to turn away because it was as though the viewer was actually there at those heights and feeling those jumps, falls and leaps.

Don't expect too much out of this one, but if you like The Rock, and are not looking for a deep experience this is a fun one. There is really nothing very original about any of this movie, but I still had fun in the moment
