My grandson was with me at Best Buy and running wild in the movies section when he decided that Sleeping Beauty was what he wanted I said you just picked one of the best Classics. I remember seeing it on the big theatre screen and was that something. The Mirror and the Witch and the and the whole movie was beautiful so I had no choice but to let him enjoy the same experience that millions have had. He and I watched it together it was a feeling that I'll have to hold dear to my heart.

The animation on this movie is simply beautiful. The technical details of how the animators made it is interesting, but there is no arguing with the results. It's stunning to look at. And Aurora is the only Disney Princess that does NOT act selfishly and stupidly, leading to disaster. So unlike all of the newer movies, she's actually NOT a bad role model for little girls.

It's a Disney classic. What else can you say but excellent? It's just a shame that it's hard to find Blue Rays in the store any more. I'm more of an impulse buyer, so unless I walk into a store with something in mind, it ruins the experience.

Growing up this was always my favorite Disney Classic. This movie was by far the best, in my opinion. I loved the princess, prince and even the villain. Classic story about a prince meets a princess and they fall in love, but there was a twist to this story. I am sure that is why I have loved it so much. Twist on a classic story. The three witches were hilarious too. Any little girl who loves princess movies will love this movie. It is a must purchase!

Such a beautiful cover of a disney classic, a must have.

I bought this movie a while back on dvd but it got scratched after some time. Glad i got the bluray version, all i can say is wow! The color, the details in the movie on the bluray disc version look fantastic. I am sure it has alot to do with the tv and bluray player i have, my settings on my bluray player are 1080P @ 24hz hdmi dark colors set to Auto and on the tv the refresh rate is set to smooth which gives me a native 120hz. Just an amazing experience.

Disney doesn't disappoint with their home video releases. The only small caveat is the omission of a couple of supplements from the previous release. I don't consider that a deal breaker because if those extras were that important, you would already have bought it. If you haven't picked up Sleeping Beauty on Blu-ray then you are in for a treat. The restoration is magnificent in every way imaginable. The Best Buy exclusive lenticular slipcover is the icing on the cake.

Another Disney Classic to buy on Blue Ray. The Disney movies are about the only ones worth paying for anymore because of the nostalgia and timelessness attached to them. Make sure you always get the Blue Ray version that already has the iTunes endorsement on the back. There are other ways to download the digital version to your Apple products, but for the quality and guaranteed viewing rights through iTunes, it's well worth the usual extra of about $10.

Great Disney classic! Can’t go wrong with this one!

I missed out on the initial Blu-ray release years ago, so I made sure to snag a copy this time around. Best Buy's exclusive was, IMO, a far better option than Walmart's and Target's. For those who are fans of extras, I've read that certain extras included in the previous Blu-ray release were NOT included in this current release, for reasons unknown to me. Nonetheless, it's still a great addition to the ever-popular Disney collection!

Sleeping Beauty is one of the greatest animated films of all time, with gorgeous artwork. While the current release doesn't have a ton of extra features, it does have a beautiful presentation of the film with excellent video and audio quality. The Best Buy exclusive cover, in my opinion, looks much better and classier than the wide release cover and for that reason I would recommend purchasing Sleeping Beauty at Best Buy!

As a disney movie collector, I have many editions of this film and will continue to purchase many more editions of these films. It’s great having the Steelbook to hold your official copy in as secondary protection! Also the limited edition covers are great addition if you enjoy the different eras of cover for the disney films!

I was so excited to introduce my kids to this classic movie. I loved it as a kid and loved showing it to them even more. The quality as a blu-ray is excellent, of course and the bonus features were also great for learning some things I didn't know about the making of the movie. Diamond Edition Disney movies are a great investment for passing on the Disney legacy to your kids or younger family members.

In my opinion, I am a true disney enthusiast I completely disliked maleficent because it lacked heart that this original feature has an abundance of. Sleeping Beauty is a true masterpiece. Disney animation in its purest form. The fairies that were horribly done in maleficent are fantastic here. The clarity of the Blu ray ginsue knife sharp. Try and aim for the 3d box if you decide to purchase looks really cool.

The movies great & the steelbook is great, the 3 starts is for the price of a kids movie costing nearly $40. The steel books are great & all but instead of including multiple copies of the movie, include 1 & cut down on the costs

This is one of the best Disney movies out there and my daughter's favorite. The movie itself is just terrific and there's something for everyone even boys. My son loves the dragon part. As far as the blu ray it's great. The picture is fantastic and the extras that are here are great. This was the first widescreen animated film they put out and the effect here is something not to miss. Highly recommended!

I really got this for the Digital version as those are one of the best ways to collect these days, but as im a bit old fashioned i like having the blu-ray too, and this Disney classic was at a Bargain price so this was a Huge win-win... Excellent addition to any collection.

This iconic Disney film is one of the touchstones of my childhood. I remember loving the dragon parts, especially. Incredibly, I had not watched it again until recently, so many years later. Nothing more I can add other than make sure your kids see it. The steelbook design is great.
