I loved this movie. I am so glad that it was finally made on blu-ray. This is a great movie that showed me that friendship between two people of different ages is real. Billy Bob's character really cared for that boy and his mama. He protected them and wanted no harm to come to them.

Movie that gets Billy Bob on the map and one of John Ritters last good works. Filled with great action and some funny parts as well. Real life settings and some cruel realities of how our mentally handicapped populations are handled.

This is a classic made movie which you need to check out... Billy Bob should have won best actor for this movie. Blu ray Digital copy

I had not wanted to see this movie until last year. Most people I knew made it out to sound like a slasher film. Billy Bob Thorton really transforms him self in Slingblade. A great cast, and a wonderful story line.

I was very surprised by the complexity of this movie. I had heard about it but did not really know what to expect. Saw it on sale so I grabbed it on a whim. Can't wait to watch it again.
