the item works great when connecting to my home DVR to watch my recorded shows. the only issue is interruptions but that is due to poor signal at the hotel. you do need a strong signal to fully enjoy the product

Other than the surprise on it not working on the iPad even though the software is available and the added cost of the software it's a good product.

Love this unit. Setup was easy. Now when I'm out of town and near a streaming device I can access my cable service at home

Great product. I love all the latest tech gadgets, but i am not the best at setting these devices up. This slingbox though was very easy to set up. Was up and running with apps in 1/2 an hour. I have unlimited data with sprint, so no worries for me as far as eating up data. I don't mind the price for the apps because once you've paid than your done. People that see this for the 1st time can't believe it. I love being able to watch the morning news or espn before I start work in the mornings, on the job.

This product works well, allowing me to watch live TV and DVR recorded shows from a distance. Connects very easily. However, there is a delay in the DVR remote and it is impossible to delete shows from the DVR over the slingbox connection.

It works pretty good with my phone and iPad, but not very well sending it to my apple tv box.

I wasn't sure exactly how it's going to set up. Sometimes things of been a little difficult getting things out of the box but this one was very easy.

Like being able to access my tv away from home!great babysitter! Gives my spouse an alternative to follow her favorite hgtv shows/share with her sisters when she's my home! Thanks slingbox!

Easy to install and because it is WI-FI, I can connect it to my receiver without any cable even if my TV and receiver is far fron my router.

I have moved away from my home town and could no longer watch any of the local sports teams. However, the sling box has allowed me to do so by installing it in a household in my hometown. Now I never miss a game!

Upgraded from 350, this is much better, easier to use and better picture

Slingbox works great even with low bandwidth in hotel wireless networks. Had some problems using Chrome as a browser so used Firefox instead.

Sling allows our family to connect to our home cable box from any of our smart devices, wherever we are. That means we can watch live tv, record and watch recorded shows, and have full access to our cable services. We travel a fair amount, so this is a great product for us. It's also fairly simple to use -- to connect, to navigate, etc.

This thing is awesome! I watch my TV at the office for the waiting area. I don't have to pay for TV service at work.

Love it. Sling box 500 is a great product. It's nice to be able to get access to my cable. The only problem has been poor internet service, was advised to get wi-fi range extender.

This seems to be a great way to watch TV anywhere. Ads are no good. Hopefully internet speeds won't be a problem.

I love this device! Lets you watch your live tv or dvr programs anywhere on my Galaxy S3. Very nice picture quality, but I had to upgrade to Road Runner extreme to get the 5Mb/s upload speed. The regular 1Mb/s upload wasn't enough, picture would freeze a lot and wasn't very clear. With the extreme internet speed works perfectly.

The sling box is perfect for kids going off to college... Friends who've moved and want to stay local with news coverage and sports

I wanted to be able to watch my home sports team while away for business. I setup this up in about 30 minutes. I tested it out before I left and it worked great. We have 30mbs home internet, so plenty of speed to send the signal, the only thing to be cautious of, is the internet speed of your remote location. If you plan to watch HD channels, you will need a good speed internet connection on both ends. It did the job, and I couldn't be happier.

Worked as advertised and it is a great way to view your cable or satellite programs away from home.
