My son is in the Air Force in Germany. With this product he is able to control and use my television and all of it's programming; even what I DVR. It is amazing technology.

I like my slingback very much! I have 1 complaint though, it's a little to glitchy and I have great Internet

Works well but is hard to set up. Very little instructions included. Spent hours on the phone getting help.

I am glad I upgraded to the Slingbox 500. I owned the solo for years and now that you can use your ipad or other devices like WDTV to stream TV. I got rid of two cable boxes at $7 a month and will have paid for themselves in 6 months by buying WDTV boxes instead for those rooms. I am always using this device!!! It is good as advertised!!!! A must own!!!

I really enjoy my SB however it doesn't lend itself to multiple users.

We had a bit of an issue setting it up due to issues with the configuration of the remote control. Once set up - we are very happy with the quality and love the convenience of being able to catch "the game' no matter where we are - at work, remote hotel, or even on the road. Love it!!!

I spend a lot of time away from home and I love being able to watch and control what is on my DVR just as if I'm at home. The setup was simple, price was reasonable, and I haven't experienced any problems so far. I've watched many hours of shows on my laptop and I intend to set this up with other devices like a smartphone, tablet, and roku.

It took me about 20 minutes to set up. All went well for 45 days. Then my box disappeared from my Sling Box account. Needed to be "re-installed" from home point. Not easy from Afghanistan. Customer support was slow. Eventually after emailing back and forth, a technical support guy walked my 10 year old thru it.

The product works as advertised and is very reasonably priced. I was particularly pleased about using it on PC browsers, but was somewhat bothered when I found out that I needed to pay more for an APP for tablet and mobile devices. Great value if you need to watch local sports teams outside of the area or take advantage of Cable or Satellite packages from other locations. Set up and operation from PC is very simple and intuitive.

Finally able to get true live TV with no limits on programing since you use your own TV service. Great being able to watch live TV or recorded shows while on the GO long as you have high spped internet available. $15 dollar one time charge to download Slingbox app to a tablet or phone but not bad since it's only a one time charge for the app.

The only way to keep in touch with TV when you are away from home.

My daughter who lives in the Netherlands can now see the football games she is missing when showing on my tv. This is a great product with the highest recommendation!

Man it is just the best. I can watch my satellite TV programming on my phone and I have a trip to Singapore planned so I hope I can catch a few Twins games from Asia.....

This is a must for any traveler! Anywhere in the world that you have access to the Net you can access your DVR from home and enjoy it as it you were at home watching it!

I'm satisfied with the product itself. The product works well after Tech Support helps you with the port forwarding. Understand the port forwarding is an ABSOLUTE MUST if you want a true HD signal. My real issue is that Direct TV (the service I am slinging) increased my monthly bill by almost 25 dollars per month due to my 'media sharing.' This isn't a deal breaker for me but it may be for potential customers. Sling should've indicated SOMEWHERE that this could happen.

Great for the frequent traveler, this product is easy to setup and easy to use. The only drawback is that when connected remotely to the Slinbbox anyone else trying to use the cable box that the Slingbox will be competing for its use.

Purchasing from Best Buy was the best price & with helpful assistance..This allows family members stay connected to local & most wanted sports programs when overseas..

This is an awesome unit. I'm far from home on work assignments and it's absolutely great to be able to watch either live tv or dvr recordings on my laptop, tablet, or phone. The wireless feature removes the requirement to have ethernet and the dvr in close proximity to each other.

bought this for my wife that had eye surgery and had to be face down to be face down for 22 hours a day for several weeks. she wanted to watch her favorite shows. hooked it up to her android notebook and a miracle happened. she was able to watch anything on u-verse cable and operate the remote with the notepad. she wouldn't have been able to see her favorite shows including dvr etc. like a portable tv. fantastic.
