Love it being able to watch my hometown news and shows when on a trip.

The Slingbox provides the service I was looking for--to significantly reduce need for cable provider. However, initial set up required a call to Customer Support who was not terribly helpful. Ultimately, I figured it out and it is working very well.

I took the unit to my 2nd home and forgot the remote. I was unable to setup the system without the remote. I will attempt to set up again in a few weeks. There is 600 miles between the two points.

must have for anyone that likes to have their cable box always in their lap basically. I watch mostly on my ipad air. anything I want to watch from my cable box is always ready for me to view. I can watch my recorded shows and even record new ones from anywhere. definitely a great get for avid sport fans. always have your game available to you no matter where you go.

Get TV almost anywhere. You can expect loading to occur often through wifi and more often through 4g. Quality picture is less than I would have expected. Still, it is giving me my football team when and where I want it. I would buy it again.

Straightforward set-up, but it is imperative to thoroughly read over the instructions first, even watching a few videos showing how to set it up are helpful. Nevertheless, once the user has an idea of what needs to be done, it is very easy. Product itself is very reliable, haven't had any issues with content delivery in terms of speed and quality.

I love the slingbox. It really serves the purpose of watching tv away from home. This is very useful when traveling especially internationally. Also great when just on vacation statewide because you can view your own local channels or channels that may not be offered in a hotel. I haven't used the usb feature so no review given for this.

Product does what it claims to, although with a few quirks... Seems to stop broadcasting when the source TV is either auto-powered down due to energy saving settings, and will also shut off when the receiver cycles.

Traded up from slingbox solo. My ability to connect from numerous sites has improved considerably. Also seem to get true HD images. Would recommend to anyone who wants to remain connected to their home video or tv source

I bought this item believing there was no way it would work as advertised, and I was totally wrong. Whether traveling or just sitting outside to watch ch a game; you are fully untethered from your tv and you can view every channel including premium. This is an awesome product, well worth what it cost!!!!

The slingbox is somewhat difficult to hook up if you have other peripherals plugged into your tv. But it works and allows remote viewing of tv so that expensive cable service can be reduced.
