I priced them out, and even though it seems to be a cheap alternative to satellite or cable TV, I can't reward a company that can't be more appropriate to our values.

I had no idea I was offered this promotion. Although now that I am aware I'm going to see if the offer is still valid. If so I will do another review with my opinion of the service

If you don’t have cable your best bet is to have Amazon Prime, Netflix, and the Disney+/Hulu bundle then alternate between HBO Max, CBS all access, etc depending on what you want to watch.
