Sling tv is the new method to compare to cable tv.

Bought this for my mother in law who gets poor reception in her house! We were able to put this in a window and run the antenna to her TV because of the long cable! It fixed her reception issue and gets twice the channels as she did before!

So I didn't even know I got this free trial with my new roku. However my sister has this and I watch shows on it whenever i go visit. It's got a great channel lineup. I highly recommend it to anyone cutting the toes with their cable company!

We tried it to get Disney Jr after our cable company dropped it. It would go dark after a minute and was a pain to get back. Most other channels were fine. I also don’t like their groupings having ESPN in one group and Fox Sports in another.

I’m working on cutting cable out of my life. This was the first step and it turned out to be a good one. This antenna lives up to the manufacturers claim. Excellent reception, easy to hook up, nice looking product. I’m very happy with it.

Sling TV is easy to use. Signed up a month a go and it streams like a charm.. no buffering, easy to use Guide, records all your favorite programs (using their in the cloud DVR). Love this Streamer as it saves me over $60/month and gives me my favorites.

Tried Sling when it first came out, the only thing that I find I don't like is that I can not get all my local channels. The price is better then HULU, but I can get all my locals with them for a little extra. still recommend Sling though.

After signing up for the free trial I decided that Hulu was a better fit for me. Sling worked well but was limited to amount of Live local channels I could receive vs Hulu offered all of them (Detroit, MI). Monthly fee not concerning.

The services is good but if you have slow internet you lose the quality. It fades and looks real fuzzy. Also, since it’s in internet, the games that are live are even more behind on time than actual live games. It’s like a minute behind.

I invested in ROKU for use with my TV so that I could stream some of the programs I was used to with cable. I discontinued my cable because of increasing cost. ROKU has been easy to learn and provides me with movies and TV programming.

I love SlingTV..I had Xfinity and Directv..total rip off. Price for sling is very reasonable and you can customize it to your liking. I like that I only have to pay $25 for the base package..those are the only channels I watch anyways .

Gone are the days of cable programming. This is the future of television. No need to keep big set top boxes, thick wires. Just stream online whenever you want. No need to record shows. You can go back and watch progamming on demand. Great TV app

Purchased Roku to replace cable box. Works great. A little hard to find the Chanel you looking for. We purchase both red and blue packages and might add sports right now it’s enough. Make sure you have a good internet connection speed

With so many other streaming services I would have to say this falls short of being the best streaming provider. Having tried Sling TV, youtube TV, and Directv Now I would have to say I had a better experience with DirecTv Now than the others.

Sling TV is an awesome alternative for cable television programming. You don't have to enter into a contract or have extra equipment. However, do make sure that you have capable internet speeds to allow for live streaming of programming.

I'm a repeat Magnolia/Best Buy client, and this team continues to rock it with assistance on equipment, advice on programming, and finally installation. Unlike my last experience, where I could crank up the volume in my single dwelling home, with this installation I needed to be sensitive to others living on the other side of two walls, above us, and below us. We wanted great sound without the National Guard being called out by our neighbors. The Magnolia team suggested the right TV and sound system to fit our needs nicely, then arranged for delivery/installation when convenient for me. Great quality and superb service. Thank you!

The Sling TV is nice to have. It allows you to keep up on most of the show or programs that you like to watch. It is not truly "Ala Carte", you have to have some channels that come with the program and you can not pick and chose.

I have been contemplating canceling my cable service for a cheaper alternative but just didn't know which one to choose. After my free trial of the sling TV, I have made my decision. Excellent choice for TV streaming and economically feasible.

the set up of the set was easy, with onscreen menus that quickly direct you to how to set it up. When combined with the antenna that I bought on the same day, I've gotten great reception and adequate number of channels to enjoy.

personally I had no use for it, not to say it isn't a great service, just not for my lifestyle and entertainment needs. I would however recommend it to someone if that is what they are looking for with their entertainment needs
