Fits well

It barely fit snuggly and would tend to want to fall off. This generation fits very well. What I don't like is the soft inner suede like material on the lid. If you have the lid flipped to the back and place it down it attracts every particle of dust, dirt, hair, lint, etc...You close the lid and it rubs all over your screen. I like mine spotless, thank you. I expect more from Apple!
