I've owned many iPad Air cases over the last 2 years and Apple is simply the best fit and quality. The smart case offers full protection and fits perfectly. I don't think I would pay full price, but when the price drops below $20, it is definitely worth it. I'd stay away from the RED color though, it wears very quickly showing dirt and oils on the leather and is impossible to clean.

ONLY PROTECTED ONE SIDE OF THE IPAD AND DID NOT HAVE ANY WAY TO USE IT AS A STAND. FOR THE PRICE IT WAS DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY.

I bought this, and the best buy sales associate said it would fit my iPad Air 2, but it didn't.

Im not sure why I got this cover-it doesn't offer much protection and is minimalist to the extreme

I baught this item Because it was on sale , and it's awful . It keeps falling of the iPad , so is pretty much useless to me

I returned for a berklin case more reliable case cost more then the apple case but well worth it!!!!!

The per was nice but did not fit my iPad. Try and make sure the cover fits your model iPad.

Bought this due to sales person pushed it on saying it was a great case. Just a cover.

For the price, I'm sure you can find a better case. However, this case is light, strong, and protective. I also enjoy having the ability to have many different viewing angles.

The Smart Cover is, of course, a perfect fit, as you would expect from a genuine Apple product. I use it on my older-model iPad Air, but the floor clerk at Best Buy told me it would work on the newer iPad Air 2 as well, as they have the same screen size. I especially like the magnetic attachment, which aligns it perfectly and holds firmly, and the optional feature (enabled by default) that locks and unlocks the iPad in response to closing and opening the cover. Best of all, this particular model is on close-out, so the price isn't quite as painful as the suggested retail!

This is a great case. It protects the screen, the back, and the edges of the iPad Air from accidental damage like no case I have ever had for any of my previous iPads. Closing the cover always results in turning off the screen, just as advertised. The feel of the product is pleasing to the hand, and the black case, in particular, looks professional when carried into a business meeting. I only have two complaints. First, the case tends to easily collapse when used as a stand unless one is very careful when one configures it that way. This is particularly the case when configuring it for the most acute angle that is possible. Second, the red case (which I first bought and kept for several months before replacing it with a black case) tends to get VERY dirty and is uncleanable. This is because the cases tend to collect oils from the hands after lots of handling which, in turn, allows grime to adhere to the case. It shows up big time in the red case after several months of handling. I couldn't take it anymore and finally succumbed to my OCD and bought a black case, which I trust will not show the grime quite so much. Over all, the case is an excellent, must-have accessory for the iPad Air, though, and I would highly recommend it. If you have OCD (or are just a neatnick), though, I would recommend the black, even though it is not as stylish as some of the other colors.

Fits my iPad perfectly and offers great protection.

This case was more expensive than I would have liked to pay. But, sometimes you get what you pay for. So, for a high end price, you do get a high end product. The case is a leathery material on the outside and a soft micro-fiber material on the inside.I feel better having my iPad inside a soft material that cradles my entire device as opposed to having to "snap" it in a hard plastic case. The fit is perfect. This case really keeps to the sleekness and thinness of my iPad. It's just gorgeous to look at and great to hold. Using the folds of the lid takes some getting used to. with only 3 sections, it tends to fall out of the "stand" mode so you have to really be aware of that possibility when using it as a stand. Thats my only gripe with this product. I don't use it as a stand much so I can get pass that fault. If you're looking for a case that you will use as a stand most of the time, I really would not recommend this. If you're looking for a case to protect your device without adding bulk and weight, this is an awesome choice.
