We had just placed the old hoses in service two years ago when we moved to a new home. But, I guess it's better safe than sorry.

But i guess its great being that its much smaller than my older hoses and allows my washer to go further back against the wall

Half the price of the steel braided hoses

Later I ordered these 4' rubber lines for $15. Same brand. I had no problems with rubber lines on my last 2 washers (used 10 years each).

New machine deserves new hoses

When you get a new machine, spend a few extra dollars for new hoses- this way you know they won't leak/bust. Also, if you're like me, you haven't replaced the last hoses since you got the last washer.
