Only if dishwasher is next to sink

I have U shaped kitchen with sink in one wall and dishwasher on the adjacent wall so I needed a 8 ft water line. my existing was also hard wired and didn't need the power cord. Hard to know what's behind the dishwasher as I wasn't the original homeowner.
