    The 6 ft is approximately 2ft longer than the 4ft. You should measure the distance from your gas hookup to to the furthest edge where the appliance can fit before choosing a hose. I had to swap the left/right arrangement of my laundry in my new home due to the wall hookup placement. The Magnolia associate had automatically assumed 4ft hose length despite the 6ft hose actually being cheaper but I needed a longer hose.

    Contained the fitting needed for the gas dryer to make the connection. 6 Foot, 3/8 gas line is easily long enough to allow easy movement of the dryer in tight installations.

    It’s important to know that Best Buy home installation teams will not install your new dryer without a new gas line. It’s against their policy. Letting customers know this on the front end would be helpful in avoiding installation delays.

    What can you say about a gas connection? Unfortunately the installers originally came with a 4 foot and I needed this 6 foot and it was a real hassle getting it exchanged, but it works like it's supposed to.

    I bought this one because I needed a longer conector and when I received this one the plastic bag said 6ft, but the conector and the tag attached to the conector Said it was 4ft. Very disappointed.
