a fine replacement cord

A simple explanation that the mains polarity didn't matter would have been useful, since on the one it was replacing that was very important.

How can you sell an electric dryer without a cord

That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard. I am a palled by this I’ve come to learn that this is common practice I’d sooner buy used appliances, then pay $34.99 plus tax for a cord And $89 for the installation I just assumed by a used appliance that is absolutely absolutely ridiculous and you need an electrician to do it thank God my ex is a little electrician so it only cost me for the part but it is sheer stupidity. The salesman told me all I had to do was plug it in when I asked if I needed anything so I purchased the washer and dryer in June and did not get it set up till last week. Pathetic.
