    the 6' 30 amp 4 prong dryer cord with eyelet terminals- black is necessary for a non vented electric dryer. I had no choice but to make this purchase and upgrade my electric output to make this dryer work.

    Its a dryer cord, it worked. Always needed when purchasing a new dryer as they dont come with cord. Sometimes the old one can be transfered over but mine was picked up before I could unhook it.

    We paid extra to have electricity to our dryer instead of the standard gas. We were surprised when we moved in and our cord wouldn't plug in. My son watched a video and showed my husband how easy it was to change. Off to Best Buy for the item needed and it was changed with ease and now my dryer works.

    When my husband and I were preparing to move into our new house, we discovered the dryer outlet had 4 prongs. Our dryer cord had 3 prongs. We quickly went to Best Buy and they recommended the Smart Choice 4 prong cord. It was easy to install and works perfectly.
