Required to buy if you’re having the installation. However the delivery guys will install it for you, so you don’t need to worry about it.

Having a new construction home, this was a needed item and saved me from having to make a trip to the local hardware store to purchase this item and hope I came home with the correct one.

I was advised that the State of CA regulations required that a new line is needed for installation of a new machine.

Cheap dryer, like layers of foil pieced together. First dryer sounded like a jet engine and I sent it back. Second one has weird sound when drying, doesn't dry on lower settings at all, and takes two cycles to dry on medium. Tried to reverse dryer door and the holes on the other side were not drilled properly, so I had to put door back to where it was! Today this dryer melted a mattress pad that I washed and dried many times in previous machines. Now there's plastic all over the back inside grill. Thankfully I got the Geek Squad plan and someone will come look at it, but I must say that I regret buying "cheap." You get what you pay for.

I can't believe a gas line is something that would require a review, but it is a good gas line, a solid gas line, one that doesn't leak, and one that was installed buy the Best Buy installers

If you have read what you going to buy and saw it cheaper and bought it, than great but if your like me, who wants everything in my order than yes get it.

Returned it as it wasn't needed. Forced me to buy it when I ordered my dryer with delivery and installation. They used the existing gas line.

Cold have been a 1'-2' longer for our installation. Had to move the dryer. Not a huge deal, but the truck didn't have other options.

Terrific product that the BB installers determined I did not need. Saved me a few bucks thanks to the attentive BB installers.

Only downfall is that there is not a cold rinse or i haven,t figured it out yet. This is on my new washer.

These are great gas lines. Smartchoice has been pretty reliable in our previous condo, and in current apartment. No issues, and works great, without an expensive price tag.

This gas hose kit came with all the pieces the installer needed to complete the hook up job. The installer was pleased that it was a top quality kit and made his job easy.

I priced checked the gas line while waiting to check out at Best Buy. Both Menards and Best Buy had the same price so for the convenience I purchased it through Best Buy.
