Did not come with the universal adapter needed for the machine we purchased and it was supposed to be the one per order

Required if you buy a dryer with installation. I wish that was clearer. My box came without the sealing tape, but thankfully the installers had some.

The gas line was not useful for LG Gas dyer (DLGX8101V) as it could not connect to my home natural gas supply line.

Sales person orders the universal kit whereas installers came in and said this is the "wrong pipe". Not sure whom to believe but they took a new one from their truck and installed it.

Did not include the right adapter to step down my gas line to what was needed for the dryer. Had to get a plumber to complete the installation.

The gas hose that was in the kit was too small and was connected to an adapter, which gave me a gas leak. I called the Gas Co. to check the leak, it was leaking a lot. The Gas co technician said if I couldn't fix it on my own, either by BB or a private plumber, then they would have to come back to repair it. I called BB to come back over right away, which they did the next day, by sending a "tech" who didn't speak any English whatsoever. He was very polite and tried to help by slapping on some leak fluid. I still didn't trust it, so I called back the Gas Co. and had to pay for both the repair and proper sized hose to be used without an extra adapter. Although the BB guys were trying to accommodate me, I don't blame them. Third party technicians that they send out are the luck of the draw, and either need more professional training or should be checked for their real expertise, especially when dealing with gas dryers.

This is no different than what you would buy at a hardware store. But, you have to buy it for the installation so buy with confidence that this IS the same as you would get elsewhere.

The attachment pieces for the hose included in the box did not match the gas pipe in my older house. The installers almost changed my appt to a drop off only and I would've been on my own to install. However, they had a pieces they purchased in the truck they used to covert the size and get it installed. Why wouldn't the installers be given everything necessary to do the installation? It is easy to see when a house was built before coming out - or, BestBuy could ask when taking the order.

this sku is the generic one, but if you look at the picture, it shows 2 different size coupling and 3 feet or 4 feet lengths. so which one are you purchasing? the one that came did NOT fit.

There was nothing wrong with the one that was on the old dryer.

Was told I had to purchase these items in order to get installation... so I cant really say much about them

The line was not long enough to reach the gas line. It seems that there should be different lengths available. All was well after a trip from the plumber and moving the gas outlet.

Considering that we had to have the gas line present when our dryer was deliver, we decided to purchase. A gas line is a gas line and was actually less expensive if we had bought at a hardware store.

Easy to install and a reliable line. Require appropriate tools to install which comes with the starter kit.

The installer from BB had no issues with this item. I don't see any problems after over a month in service.

Could have done without considering the extra parts that we have. Too expensive for the actual price of this item.

Was just able to make the connection. Should be a minimum of 8 feet for hook-up and the ability to pull out the dryer for either service or cleaning underneath.

this was a required purchase for the in home installation of my dryer. I did not have to touch it at all, only the installers did.

Sure it's fine but was able to use the relatively new existing gas line. They require you to purchase from Best Buy if they are doing install. Did install ourselves
