This was a rip-off. My old dryer valve was perfectly good but the installer said that they could not use it. $100 plumber later he said it was perfectly good but I installed a different one. Bottom line was that the first BestBuy installer just did not want to install. He wanted to dump and run not install and he had a work book of excuses.

Terrible service. This was a basic dryer hookup where previous dryers had been connected with no problems. I had to call a plumber since this inadequate simple hookup was possibly having carbon monoxide leak into our home.

No complaints. It was professionally installed so it should last.

Best Buy in Carson City doesn't know the difference between 3/8" and 1/2" gas lines and they don't work with their installers to make sure the right line is delivered. That resulted in me having to buy yet another line from my local hardware store to get the installation done (I also bought the Best Buy dryer installation package). No refund was offered for the wrong line Best Buy provided. So, don't bother buying a Gas hookup line from Best Buy - at least not in the Carson City NV area.

you must purchase this set in order for them to give you the free installation. but still not complete because we have to purchase separate valve for the installation to be complete.

The washer, dryer & pedistools have all turned out to be fine. The instal was the worst. Showed up late, left the job incomplete, brought the wrong parts & worst of all left the job with a small gas leak.

Can't review a product that wasn't installed. Apparently the fittings did not match up. The delivery person said he could take it back and I would be refunded. Still waiting on that.

The law says it’s got to be new. Who knew?? Add it on.

Total over priced junk. Do not recommend. Don’t like the color or the box.

Thankfully salesman made sure he included the appropriate items needed for the dryer to be installed correctly. Good experience!

They make this item in various sizes. Of course, since we were hooking up the dryer ourselves, we ASSUMED that they would bring us the correct attachment for the size required for our dryer. It wasn't until later that day when we hooking it up that we found it didn't even match the size of the gas inlet of the dryer and had to go spend another $40+ to get the right size and hookups. Seriously, if you're delivering a dryer, you should at least look at the specs for what size hookup is needed.

Entirely unnecessary inline check valve - caused nothing but issues when installing my new gas dryer. Educate yourself- because your sales rep may not be knowledgeable enough to guide you in the right direction. The result may be countless hours of trouble shooting your install.

They he old ones worked great but made us buy new ones. Guess we hope they last a long time.

Had to get another cable from home depot as this was too short and best buy has a generic cable for the purpose

Waste if my money, wasn't needed, wasnt used in installation of my new dryer at all. Told at time of purchase that its required by law to sell me this installation kit, terrible, kit was bent and damaged when it arrived, yet it was still not used but left in my possession because i had no choice but to purchase it according to the best buy salesperson

Make sure if you buy a new hose you get the right size and adapter fitting, the won they sent was to small. I worked after I got the right adapter.

Based on your set up I would recommend getting a longer hose just in case you’re not trying to shift your kitchen/ washer set up
