For use with Samsung gas dryer,at my vacation house

Would not recommend! I bought this along with my dryer and paid for installation only to have to call the gas company to check it because i smelled gas! They confirmed that it was in fact leaking gas and labeled it unsafe. Apparently the end part is what’s modified so it didn’t fit a standard gas line which is what caused the leak.

I was told when I called the store that this included the coversion kit for propane. When shipment arrived I was told by the well informed driver that it was not. I then had to order elsewhere and delay my installation with gas company. Very inconvenient.

I was charged for a new line but the installers used my old line. Thry used all old equipment. All they did was plug and connect. Finished 8n.less than 5 minutes.

The installation tech did not properly add seal. Luckily, we called our gas utility company to come by for emergency and they showed me that the installer didn’t put a seal. They just tighten it.

Good quality, but only came with one adaptor so it dud not fit other end of standard connection. Best buy could not install it. Had to hire plumber. Need to recover cost from them!?

BEST BUY HAS THE WORST INSTALLers ever. They broke my gas line, and only reimbursed me 80. It will be almost 200 to replace. Then they said well you need to file this with there insurance. Called insurance and no one has called back. Called three times. Then the store said if they pick up the dryer then i cant get reimbursed. REALLY YOU BROKE MY DRYER GAS LINE.

Dryer can not be coverted to propane! What an awful experience. This is being returned with the dryer and matching washer.

The line is only 4 foot and not long enough for a stacked combo. Minimum length of the line should be 6 foot when sold with the stacking kit.

I was required to buy this item for my dryer to be installed but it did not have all the parts for most gas lines it only comes with one 5/8" M to 3/8" M adapter, no 3/4" 1/2" or 3/8" adapters. In addition, the installer told me they don't use the included 5/8" adapter because it does not work. So if you don't have a 3/8" male connection already, your dryer can't be installed. THIS REQUIRED install kit should be a universal install kit and fit most gas pipe sizes.

Installation was improperly performed. Gas leak in two locations. Identified by the gas company. After installation, installer did not test for any gas leakage. Home at risk gir gas explosion.

Told the guy I had all accessories and someone to install he said he cannot sell me the dryer without it. Came back and returned everything because I confirmed he was lying to make the sale

Needed a pipe wrench and could not install and left because needed to be one time for next appointment

Make sure to get the right gas line. Website suggested this gas line for my dryer. When tech came to install he told me the line was too narrow for my dryer. He did have a gas line that worked on his truck, so my dryer was hooked up, but now I have to drive 20 miles to return a gas line.

Line too small for drier. I wouldn’t use this for anything in anyone’s home. Buy your own

Best Buy included this with my dryer, I did not select it. When it arrived it was the wrong size. Best Buy should double check the size when accompanying it with an appliance.

needed to purchased this with new gas dryer since i was replacing a older dryer. Installed by delivery guys.

I was told that i had to replace my old gas line (for the gas dryer i purchased @ BestBuy). I was also told to purchase the generic one, and that the installer would have correct size (fitting) and length. However, upon installation, they did not have the right replacement and used my old line anyway. They did not indicate i could return item, nor did they offer to replace the line with the correct size.

Delivery guys left the gas line sitting on the dryer telling me I had the wrong one. Not correct

Why is this required purchase if I have one? Doesn't make any sense.
