I WAS NOT SURE IF I REALLY NEEDED THIS PART. BUT THE INSTALLERS SHOW AND EXPLAINED THE USE OF THIS HOSE AND THE SAFETY THAT IS NEEDED. WHEN THE GAS COMPANY CAME TO CHECK UP SAID EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. YES I AM A HAPPY CUSTOMER.

Bought this for hookup with my new LG dryer. Everything about the product was great. However, when BestBuy delivery guy came he tried to pull a fast one on me by swapping out a cheap flimsy gas line with mine. He tried to say that this line wasn't built for dryers only for water heaters...Good thing I caught him!

Everything you need for proper hookup, with clear instructions. Be sure to check adapters for rubber plugs before installing!

Bought this at a local bestbuy store. Quality is solid and it meets local standard if you buy it at the local store.

I purchased this as required for installation. It is not as shown in the picture. It is silver with no protective coating. I purchased a washer and dryer along with all the parts required for installation. The gas line was installed with a kink in it, the dryer vent has several slices where air leaks and they ruined the venting system I installed the day before delivery. I ordered/paid for the yellow coated gas line, I did not get that. I told the installer to make sure the dryer was on the left, that's where the gas line is. He installed it on the right, in front of the water lines for the washer. The washer was installed in front of the gas line. They won't come correct their mistakes for several days. I changed it myself (I am a 64 year old disabled retiree). I had to move the heavy washing machine and dryer and swap positions. I tried to fix the vent. They did not have a connector so they used an additional elbow so the vent was all bent and smashed. I removed the elbow and used aluminum tape to connect the two vent pieces as I was instructed by my local hardware store (as well as taping the tears). Tomorrow I will go buy a new gas line, new water hoses as the ones they installed are way too long and and have to make several turns because the water inlets are only a foot from the washer and the hoses are approx 6+ feet long. The dryer gas line is also 6 ft and the inlet is less than a foot from the dryer. 3-4 feet would be more than adequate. I'll get them all 4 feet so the appliances can be moved. Then all those parts are going back to my local store or refund as I was told I have to go back to where I bought the stuff. I bought it all online, never stepped foot in the store. Customer service would not help me. If you do buy this item install it yourself. I highly suggest self installing it is very easy.

Brought the wrong part and told me to go back to the store and get the right one. I dont even work there.

The Gas line was a little short for 4 feet, should have gotten 5 or 6 feet to be able to move the dryer to clean the dryer vents from lint as required in the instructions booklet...etc.

Sadly, like many others the size that was ordered along with the installation for my Gas Dryer was the wrong size. I had to run out and purchase one elsewhere in order to fix the issue. This appears to be a common thing with older homes in my area, the house is from the 1960s and in CA. The build quality of the line itself seemed good.

got a dryer and needed to get extra stuff for it. Best buy makes you get extra stuff so you can install your dryer.

It worked, but it is flimsy and the clamps are junk metal. Not so bad that they have fallen off but WAY inferior to what you could get at Home Depot for less money. I do not recommend buying this if you have the alternative.
