The diagrams in the instructions for this item are great. It's very clear how the gas line connects and where to put the pipe junk. However, it doesn't include enough gas leak test solution, so I ended up having to mix up a batch of soapy water to be extra-sure it wasn't leaking.

No problems with hook up, So Cal Gas did the installation.

Although the hoses etc. are good, I feel they should have been included in the price, since we can't use the machines without them. Those hoses were very expensive.

I needed these hookups to complete my dryer installment. The feel and build of the material is solid. It gives me confidence knowing it won't leak. Besides, they are comparable price wise to other name brand gas lines hookups.

These are the dryer gas lines I was required to purchase along with my washer and dryer for installation...however...the gas lines I already had on, would not come off.... so the installers said they looked good enough and they used my old ones anyway...I returned these..

It’s a hose, like any other hose. Nothing excellent, nothing bad. It’s yellow. It has threaded ends. It does what it was designed to do. Big surprise.

Everything seems to be going well. The installers were very good at what they were doing. I had looked on Consumer Reports and it was stated that this particular dryer was highly rated.

Honestly, there is nothing special about this product. It was there as a recommended product when I purchased my dryer. I got the free installation from Best Buy and no issues. They came and delivered the dryer and completed the installation.

When we finally replaced our old gas dryer after 25 years, one look at the original gas line told us that it needed to be replaced. Thanks to Best Buy, we got a nice, shiny yellow gas line to replace the old one. It was dull and gray.

Look no further, this is the end all of gas lines. I cannot believe I waited this long to get one. This will totally make your appliances day and looks good while doing it.

I’m glad that they make you put in a new flexible gas line wham they install a gas dryer out old flexible line had to be over 20 years old.

Necessary for gas dryer installation. Had it installed by Best Buy’s 3rd party.

Good product but why is it required for installation when there is already a stainless steel line present?

It does the job. I haven’t had any issues. I definitely recommend using the Best Buy installation option if you have a gas appliance.

They had everything you need to set up what you buy here at Best Buy so easy to just bundle everything g together and let them set it up!

Since this was a new purchase and the prior gas line was 9 years old we changed to the new line. It should be noted that the new line was a smaller fitting which was required in order to hook up the new dryer to the gas line.

This was definitely needed as our previous line and dryer were approx 20 years old. The new washer and dryer has been great and appreciate the smooth service and installation from Best Buy!

Had to buy this to go with the gas dryer that we had purchased. Our previous dryer wasn't even 4 years old and it died on us so even though this was still relatively new, we still had to purchase a new one.
