If they call for a Smart Choice- Dryer Gas line Hook up- yellow then get it done! Don't play around with old hook ups. You just might blow up your house if you don't follow the rules!

This is a required item that is required for installation. There are 3 sizes, but Best Buy knows which one to bring out depending on the "code" for the town you live in

I do not know if this has anything to do with it. My gas dryer is making a funky noise, but I will call the gas company and update the review once I know what is causing my gas bill to be high.

It is a must have when you purchase a new dryer. Why use old stuff with a new dryer. I rather not take my chances and have a leak or something. So I would recommend anyone who purchase a new dryer to replace the gas line also.

We had a gas dryer prior, so when our new dryer was delivered, this item hook-up end was too small. So we had to get a different one for the hook-up.

Quality gasoline but costly but should have been cheaper than thirty nine dollars.

Dryer gas line came but this is connected to the dryer installed on the floor. The dryer was supposed to be stacked up on the washer as a stacking unit which could not be done because Best Buy claimed the stacking kits are yet to be received from Samsung. Don't know when this will be obtained but it is creating a big inconvenience for me. If I knew the units have to be separately installed, I would have purchased top loading washer instead of a front loading washer.
