    Getting a new Gas Dryer Hose was the best thing I could have done. When I bought the dryer, it was an option; I thought the salesman was just trying to get a little more commission. Turns out, during the installation, when my old hose was removed, I realized how badly I really needed the new hose. I am so glad the salesman suggested I buy one, even if I returned it later.

    Works very well highly recommend , no leaks and works great. Just be sure when the installation is being done that it is installed correctly. Keep in mind that the product may not look like the same color that is displayed in the picture of your purchase. They bring their own hoses the company that installs.

    Pros: 4ft length-plenty to work with to hook up our gas dryer. Built in safety valve. Very flexible line and had the correct connectors and even included the thread seal compound, leak detector fluid, well thought out kit. Cons: Automatic safety valve only restricts flow rate and does not completely cut off gas flow according to what I was able to read on the instructions. I would much rather it completely shut off the gas if it is hot enough to reach the trip point. Safety valve does not meet code for my area, they require a manual shutoff valve which I had added by the installer.

    Getting a new gas line hook up coil is a no brainer and is code in most municipalities when changing out new gas appliances. Be safe and make sure to replace the flexible coil gas line when connecting up to a new gas appliance!

    Hey the installation was a breeze and no signs of leaks which is the most important thing. Not to flexible so be careful to not kink it. Cheap and it gets the job done is great for me.

    Given that I was installing a gas-fired laundry center, the requirement to use new gas hook up lines is prudent. My existing hookup line was 15 years old and so better to replace to avoid risk of crack and gas leakage.
