I have no complaints about this product and it is working as intended. It was installed on my dryer by best buy when I purchased a new dryer.

Didn't need it so it wasn't used at all. But the guys did great connecting the dryer

When you buy the dryer this should come with it otherwise the dryer won't work properly. It should not be called Smart Choice, since you have no choice.

Very good gas hose for the washer and dryers. Nothing else needs

The gas line required for hook up says it is 4’ and doesn’t look like it at all. I would recommend a longer gas line for this unit. They didn’t tell me it came in longer sizes either.

Does the job the first time. Best Buy defaulted to this brand.

This Item was recommended to us at purchase. I usually buy Brasscraft gas connectors at Lowes or HD. However, the sales person was admen we use the bestbuy brand. On day of installation, the crew members arrived 1hr late & my appliances had been unboxed for some odd reason. I asked them why & they said "We don't know, we are not bestbuy!" i had no productive response at that point... needless to say, the installation was slow, frustrating & confusing. Once it was all done, i asked if they could turn the appliances on to ensure the install was done correctly... they turned on & the smell of gas was quite strong. Best buy installers mentioned it was "normal" for this to happen and should go away on our 2-3rd use of the dryer. I knew this could not be right so i said "thank you" and just wanted them out. We called our utility company and they confirmed that the gas install was improperly installed & that the installers forgot to add plumbers tape to all fittings. This was an expensive nightmare of a purchase and we will never use bestbuy again for any major appliances.

Hooked up without any problems fit our machine and gasline.

To be honest I have not used this product because I have not been able to hook things up . But what I can say is Best Buy made sure I have everything I need

I definitely wanted the old gas line replaced because it was a safety issue. The installers did it for me and there was no problem.

Needed these dryer gas lines to install dryer. Excellent.

I ordered this hose to go with my new gas dryer. After hooking everything up, tightening it, turning the gas on and looking for leaks on either end of the hose, I could smell a faint gas odor but couldn't determine the source. I even did the soap and water spritz check and didn't see any bubbles. To be safe, I turned off the gas line and ordered a gas detector to make sure I wasn't imagining anything, it turns out the leak was in the middle of the hose. Very disappointing as you would think there would be some kind of quality control for an item that is going to be used with gas. Very surprised because the tubing seems to be metal, so you would expect some level of durability. Thank goodness nothing sparked or caught fire, we turned that specific gas line back off so as not to endanger ourselves. I can't even initiate an online return and the packaging had already been thrown out so now I guess I have to buy a new brand and throw away this $32 hose because I do not trust this brand.

Required parts remise will just purchase through Best Buy and have them delivered with your units. That way you know that the right parts and he don't have to worry about returning if they're wrong.

Since this is required for install you pretty much gotta use this unless you think you can make a smarter choice. I am not going to doubt them here. Subtracted 2 stars for purple packaging.

Worked perfectly this kit to get the dryer running properly. Wouldnt work without it
