I was disappointed in the gas line that was provided with my dryer purchase. The coupling size was too small. I was very happy though that I was able to return it with ease and the service agent was great with got this done quickly and efficiently.

Gas line did not fit ! Therefore dryer was not hooked up. Installers said they would send information needed to install with receipt. THEY DID NOT ! Sitting on a dryer gas line that is useless and paid for a service that we did not receive!!! NEVER AGAIN. I will not purchase anything else from Best Buy. I’ve already sent in a review. Which tells me you don’t care about customer service. So I’m most certainly done done done. I will tell everyone I know and anyone that needs a recommendation. Not to use Best Buy.

The installer did not tighten the fittings. after he left, there was a gas smell. Best Buy could not send the installer back to fix. We had to have the gas company come out for emergency repair. Very unsatisfied with this dangerous situation

i can't understand why BB wants me to review again, this is the 4th time and my opinion has not changed. Your installers are a bunch of dopers.

Smelled gas from the junction that disappeared after couple weeks. I even used a gas detecting device that proved it. It got colder and the smell stopped but I'm not sure it's fixed.

The gas line installation kit was the wrong size for the model purchased. Buyers of any gas dryer should verify the size actually needed instead of purchasing the kit indicated on line below the appliances at checkout. I had to independently pay the installer for the correct gas line.

It was not needed because I already had one in place so they used the one that was already there

I had to return this item, sized wrong for the dryer. Call your local gas company to make sure what size is needed. Poor packaging it feel apart when I opened the box

This hose may be adequate but is cheap and small. I got a professional plumber to finish the installation job and he brought a larger, more powerful hose. Best Buy supplies it because it's cheap.

I returned this item. It was too short to reach from my gas hookup to my dryer. I had to go to the hardware store to get a 72” line.

They kept rescheduling delivery so I requested a refund.

Actually we did not need the gas line but it was good to have it just in case we did

the only options available from the store were 3 feet long. i had to go to my local hardware store to buy one that was 5 feet. need better options in store

After asking the sales person to make sure I had everything I needed for an easy dryer install this size did not work. It made it a nightmare to have the install and three different appointments to get it right. This should be something that is explained to the customer at the time of purchase. Installers should also have extra long ones on hand in case it needs to be purchased at that time. Very disappointing installation! Totally frustrating!

We needed a 6ft line but only a 4ft line came with the installers. The problem was corrected by customer service, but it took a few more days for 6ft line to be delivered

We purchased new washer and dryer units, this item was recommended by our salesperson. Our professional installer had a gas line better suited to our tight space.

This was returned since when the installation date arrived, it was brought along with the dryer and I was told it was the wrong size for my gas line. Getting the correct size at another big box store specializing in hardware delayed the installation by a week. It was automatically added to the order by the salesperson so lesson learned is know your gas line hookup size and don’t rely on the salesperson.

Already has a leak. I'm not going to bother with an exchange if it has already failed within a month

I paid for a gas line that Was never used . The installer used my existing gas line to hook up my dryer .. after customer insisted that I have to purchase the gas gas line in order for them To install my dryer... and plus the installer who installed my dryer was very rude and lazy and didn’t want to anything that I ask to do even though what I suppose have done was on His instruction I was upset the whole time not happy..
