Hasnt failed yet and its been 2 years

The connector feels solid and well-made, and installation was pretty straightforward. It fit perfectly with my dryer setup and there were no leaks or issues after hooking everything up. It’s one of those simple parts that you don’t think much about, but having a reliable connector gives peace of mind. Good quality for the price.

It does appear to be good quality and it threaded onto the fittings with no issues. I saw another review that said it was the law that this is replaced when installing a new unit. I am not sure that is correct and you may want to check that before you fall for it. It is definitely a good idea to change it but I am not sure it is the law. I do know Best Buy told me they would not do the install unless they had new parts. As someone who has worked in this field for over 30 years I can definitely say it is a good idea to do it.
