The house is great, but needed to purchase and adapter to get this to connect to my water line. High quality braided hose that isn't going to break and flood (according to murphys law, right after I leave for vacation)

Great inclusive kit that we didn’t need since we paid for installation. They brought their own line and adapter. The only issue we had was they used plastic line instead of the metal line provided in the kit.

Found out I didn't need it since my home was a new build.

I don't know why Best Buy requires me to purchase this hose for my new refrigerator. I already have a perfectly good water line.

Water had a terrible taste. Not sure if was the filter, the houe, or the reservoir so if not that's the reason for the 3. But doesn't leak.

Required delivery with new fridge. I had existing line. Geek Squad crew great!

BBY not alone in forcing this purchase of you're having refrigerator delivered, but really is a pain to have to return it rack time, since I do not need a new line

The refrigerator was delivered three times with damage. The third time I suggested using the door from the first damaged one to make the third one whole. Promised compensation each time with third amount not permitted due to policy. When I was in management if something was promised we had the integrity to honor it!!

As I understand it, this item was a required purchase in order for the delivery guys to install my new fridge, rather than just delivering it leaving it up to me to move it into my house. For the product itself, it has proven dependable.

Great price, easy, convenient install & acceptable predicted longevity. Water & ice have no bad taste nor smell.

We had to question an additional $29.99 charge listed as "Stainless Steel" on our receipt for our refrigerator purchase. It turns out it was supposed to be for running a water line for our new LG fridge ice maker. The only problem was that they ran no new waterline...only hooked up the existing flexible tubing. When they called to investigate after it was reported, we explained to the agent that the charge needs to be removed as the new line was not run and the installation crew (3rd party-not Geek Squad) left no "unused" pipes etc. They also left no note recording that they didn't run a new line, so it became our word against their records. After negotiation, they offered to set up another appointment to run the new lines. What's the point? The existing lines are working just fine and we don't want to have to schedule another day of our time. They may not think so, but our time is valuable and we'd already spent a significant amount of it on this issue! They refunded the $29.99 charge via a Best Buy Gift Card.

This item was returned...If you frig....the one you are replacing is fairly new...you wont need this piece at the time of installation

It don’t work didn’t work then don’t work now Don’t work they didn’t make sure it was working before they left. Left it responsibly in us even though we paid for them to hook up

The instructions are very easy to understand even for an individual who does not normally install refrigerators.

We didnt see this installation. Delivery did it so fast we don’t know how it is. Bit we guess it works well. No problems as of now.

Overpriced waterline/icemaker kit that if you dont purchase, the delivery guys wont install/connect your appliances

My refrigerator doesn’t have an icemaker so I have no idea why it was included with the installation. They should’ve taken money off my installation cost knowing that fact.

There are less expensive options available that will do the job just as well. Would recommend shopping around. Have one of these for one fridge and a different material for another fridge, can't tell the difference other than the $20.

The stainless steel water line kit is an improvement from the plastic tubing we had previously on our old ref.

Good looking but noisy when compared to similar fridges. After talking to GE technical service was told that the excessive noise on the evaporator coil is due to the freon used in the model, R600A. The noise continues after disconnecting the fridge for at least 30-45 seconds, so is not the compressor or any other mechanical item. It seems some kind of cavitation on the evaporator coil.
