I let it run non-stop, emptying the ice tray every time, for about 3 weeks and it never got better. I replaced the hose with a new one and now the problem is gone. Unfortunately this is the default kit that you have to pay for to get a fridge installed by Best Buy. I would never buy this product by itself.

You guys never could figure out how to make the delivery, so, exasperated, we got a refund for everything and went to Home Depot. Now you want me to review the product? HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Found my whole kitchen covered in water today. I though my total tech membership would mean a simple exchange, but this awful water line is only covered for 60 days.

Unhappy buyer

I bought it because I already had an external water and ice dispenser on the old refrigerator and thought I just had to have a new line. PAID for something I couldn’t use!!!!

The technician - Anthony - was very nice and tried to fix it. We ultimately had to call a plumber to get it fixed

Check to see if you need it

Be sure to tell the salesperson if you have this system and save a step of having to return it later. When the delivery crew came to install the refrigerator, they told us it was not compatible and they couldn't attach the water hook up. We then had to schedule a plumber to come out and attach the new refrigerator to our water system.

Line too short

The installer had to use his own line which is much thinner and inadequate to make ice quickly. He should have been given the correct sized line.
