    each time, when I buy a new refrigerator, i alway buy a new stainless steel refrigerator water line. most of home builder provided a plastic water line and it is not as good quality as stainless steel water line. Stainless steel water line is less possible to break.

    I'm not sure why they want to review of this item. I think you have to buy it in order to install whatever it is that you're installing. In my case it was a dishwasher.

    We replaced our 20 year old fridge , so time for new water line as well. Our last one was plastic and it was fine the entire time. Since this is stainless I would expect it to hold up at least as well as the plastic ( poly ) one we had.

    Much better than the plastic waterline kit that was on our old refrigerator. The stainless steel bends better and doesn't get kinked up when you push the fridge back in place.

    Was told by sales rep that I had to purchase this part. So far no leaks and no metal taste or residue which is all I can ask for.

    Purchased the fridge and later needed to connect the water hose to the ice maker. As you may know, Best Buy offers installation services and that's what they did. Now I always have ice whenever I need it.

    The delivery people refused to install the water line because the shut off valve was not directly behind the refrig. It was very easy to install as all the necessary connections were there. Took 5 minutes -- no leaks. Had water immediately and ice within a few hours.
