    We had ordered this waterline when we replaced our old refrigerator. As it turned out the water supply we had was in good shape so a new one was not needed. The delivery men took care of seeing that we were reimbursed for the purchase, which we appreciated.

    Bought the water line for the ice maker for our new refrigerator it was installed for us when our refrigerator was delivered. So far ice maker works great. Have not had any problems.

    If you want to be able to pull out your refrigerator to clean behind it (because we all do that so often) you want to make sure you don't kink the waterline when doing that. This mesh covered waterline resists kinking up. It is worth getting a new line with a new refrigerator.

    If you want ice from your fridge, you cant go without this. Supplies life sustaining water to the ice maker in order to create ice. Once this water is frozen, it can be placed in your beverages to keep cold, or in a bag to put on your childrens boo boos.
