But they work, good quality and no leaks..

They don't really care how old your waterline is, you have to purchase this in order for them to hook up the water line to a new refrigerator. The only reason I would recommend this product is because you have to purchase it.

Only draw back is that you really do not have a choice if you select item delivery or purchase the extended warranty as you are required to purchase this more expensive hose or not have the appliance hooked up by the delivery person.

The old connection was not long enough so the installers drilled through to the basement and connected this one to a cold water line in 15 minutes. Very smooth and clean install without a call to the plumber.
