At first I didn't think this would work for the dryer. Wasn't long enough. After Best Buy's delivery team stretched it out a bit, fit perfectly!

Time is valuable so do not waste it by making extra stops at hardware stores looking for dryer vent parts. Purchase the Smart Choice Semi Rigid Dryer Vent Kit when purchasing the appliance.

When I bought my washer and dryer at Best Buy, I was offered free delivery and installation with the purchase of the installation kit. I would recommend purchasing the installation kit because you need these items anyway and the two guys who delivered and installed my washer and dryer knew what they were doing. Unfortunately, however, the space where the dryer goes is too tight for the normal dryer vent kit and I had to get a slim-fit vent to get it in such a tight space. I recommend that you measure the space before you get the vent kit. If the space is sufficient, this should be fine.

This vent is very easy to clean, and seems very high quality

This vent kit was installed with our new dryer. It would not be worth the labor to have to replace the old vent should it fail after installation. Recommend replacing the vent when replacing the dryer

For venting. You’re going to need it with your new dryer and they’re probably going to include it with your purchase. So go with it.

This is a good quality, strong dryer vent hose. It is long enough to facilitate the installation without being too long.

The easy of installation was really nice. We have a tight space between the dryer and the wall, so this kit caught our attention. installing the hose to the wall first, then tipping the dryer forward to attach the hose to the dryer was a snap.

This was a totally unnecessary accessory. The installers didn't use it, stated that they rarely end up using it, and they stated that I should return it. So I did. Something to be careful of: according to the Service Desk staff I spoke with when I returned it, the time-to-return clock starts when you order the delivery and not when it is delivered (even though you won't have possession of this item until delivery) so be quick about returning it if there's been a few weeks between when you ordered the delivery and when it was delivered. The dryer this went with was on back-order and so there was nearly a month between ordering and returning this (which would have been problematic for anyone not an Elite Plus MyBestBuy member I have a feeling).

This dyer vent is humongous and takes space behing the dryer liniting the dryer to be closer to the wall. It otherwise works great venting the dryer and laundry room does not feel hot.
