I had to cut my shorter but it was easy enough with some regulae scissors to unravel and cut to length!

I was a little confused because my dryer was a condensation dryer, but I ordered the Vent Kit anyway in case there was a a safety vent or something. When the installers delivered the Bosch dryer, they, too, were confused, since there was clearly no vent outlet on the dryer. I was able to return it. Moral of the story: if Best Buy.com recommends that you buy this "required" kit for your Bosch condensation dryer, don't do it. It was well made, so I gave it 4/5 stars.
