Make sure to use this when installing

The installer told us the old vent was better and to keep using it, so we agreed. After finding out about the warranty issue, we had to install the new vent ourselves. Don't let the installer do this to you.

Keep it short

When installing a new dryer, it is a good idea to install a new vent hose, keep it as short and straight as you can manage for better air flow.. And while the old dryer is out, take a minute to vacuum out the rigid vent pipe. This will let the dryer "breath" easier. This is a good kit, and it is convenient to pick it up with the dryer.
