Not long enough and easily broken
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this to be used with my new dryer and it was installed by Best Buy. My dryer vents directly up to the ceiling on the second floor to a solid pipe leading to the roof vent. The connection to the back of the dryer requires a sharp bend upward from the back toward the ceiling. This kit did not have an elbow so, when a sock was dropped alongside the dryer, requiring it to be moved to retrieve it, the vent hose broke at the sharp bend near the rear outlet of the dryer. I had to go to Menards to buy a vent kit that included an elbow and replace it. $30 down the tube! The vent kit I bought (with the elbow) was much less and still was made of the rigid metal, instead of the flimsy accordion plastic ones that just end up getting filled with lint. I would recommend buying your own vent kit (with elbow if needed) and save yourself some time and money.

Would Not Fit

Unfortunately, this vent could not be accommodated in our laundry room. At the recommendation of the Best Buy delivery team, we reused our existing Flexible dryer venot unit.

Okay Dryer Connector

If you are having Best Buy install the dryer, then it's decent and does the job. However, you should measure the space first to make sure it will fit. I ended up getting a cheaper, more flexible dryer connector that worked just fine.
