Vent kit
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Most of the time vent kits are just vent kits but when I compared the thickness and sturdiness of this kit to what was on the old dryer this is heavier and actually more flexible. Now you may think heavier is a bad thing but its just the opposite the thicker vent lines prevent hot air leaking back into your home your laundry room stays cooler & your AC doesnt trip every time you run the dryer.

Be sure to measure
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This hose kit is much sturdier than the low end variety you buy at a hardware store or that sometimes comes with the dryer. But take note that the hose takes some extra room due to the configuration of the dryer ends. I needed almost an extra foot of wall clearance compared to the rinky-dink dryer exhaust hose on my previous dryer. Double check your measurements. That said, this is a definite upgrade from most dryer exhaust hoses.

Looong pipe to replace a shorter one.

The dryer sticks out a bit more from the wall than the old one did because this vent pipe is longer, but what the hell.

Dryer Vent Kit

It was a little longer than I would like but the air is moving OK. The aluminum hose does dent rather easily. The kit did obtain a rectangular box the aided in the connection to the dryer.

We previously had the plastic with metal ridges and this appears to be much more sturdy and it hold it's shape much better. It fits well in our situation where the vent in the wall is directly behind the dryer. It appears that it will curve well if needed also.
