You could cut it down to size but use caution.

For our old dryer we were using a flexible vent system, but our fears were for naught! This vent system actually is a little flexible and makes the dryer fit perfectly in that space!

It works well, however it seems like it needs to be strapped in to my dryer better. There isn't anything holding it on there so I'm not sure if the people who installed it did so correctly. It hasn't come off when the dryer is working, but if I move the dryer it comes off.
