The installers were appreciative of it and used it to install this. Maybe the new dishwasher is new enough and the other is old enough, parts needed replaced. Either way, it was a good thing to have.

Thought I would probably just end up returning it but as it turned out the original hose wasn't long enough and I had to use this. Glad I had it handy otherwise the installation could've easily taken another day or two.

Probably not a bad idea to replace the current hoses when you replace the dishwasher, just as a precaution against leaks. The installation went fine, and we have no leaks, so I'd say this kit is doing its job.

Although you might be tempted to reuse your existing connecting kit -- don't do so... it's worth it to replace for a more reliable installation.
