All the parts you need + some you don't need!

Most dishwashers are permanently connected with BX or Romex, not electrical cords with plugs.

LG a good choice

I found it easy to use once you set it up with your preferences. It does an excellent job cleaning the dishes, pots, etc. The drying process does not use heat, other than the water, so you will need to use a rinse aid such as Cascade to avoid spots. It is relatively quiet, and I am very satisfied overall.

Didn't Install but

We had free installation so I didn't have to do anything but, I did ask about the kit and the installer showed it to me, explained why it was a good kit to have and then went about installing our dishwasher. It was also part of our deal along with the free install. If it's included and makes the install easy, why not get it?!

Who knows what kind of issues would be found with the old fittings and hoses. The kit made the installation a breeze.

As long as you already have an air gap installed for a pre-existing DW, you will not need anything else for the successful replacement of an old DW.
