I am excited to add this new appliance to my renovated kitchen. Carlos and his wife were the excellent installers, making sure to keep us updated on the status and issues with the installation.

Need to replace if new dishwasher

The quality is so much better than the hose we had, which was probably 20 years old. The flexible braided Stainless Steel waterline was so much better than our old copper one. Also the drain hose was a better quality. This kit is a must for new dishwasher installations and worth the money.

Works with Bosch Dishwasher

BB automatically added "2" different Dishwasher kits to my order. The only way to fix this is to call BB and have them remove one. The BB person I spoke with cancelled on of the kits and left sku 5146600 on my order. I questioned if that was the right kit in that the description stated it was for Frigidaire models, but I was assure it would work with Bosch. My installer used the kit and did not complain, so I assume it is the correct part.

I knew that the kit had a flexible braided water line, and my original dishwasher was plumbed with a hard copper line, which was a pain in the butt since it would not flex at all. I opted for the kit and was glad I did, since I live about twenty miles one way from town, and it is "better to have and not need, than to need and not have"

Most dishwashers are permanently connected with BX or Romex, not electrical cords with plugs.
