Here's why the review only gets 4 stars-- first, since it is a required unit, it should have been bundled with the dishwasher and not thrown in as an extra for more money. Second, guess what? It WAS bundled with the dishwasher, so I had to go back to Best Buy to return the extra kit. It would have been nice to know that I did not need a second one.

Hopefully it was installed correctly and that's not the problem with my dishwasher. But other than that I think that these are great products.

We had a contractor remodel our kitchen. Sometimes they will already have this piece, so make sure you check with your contractor that is doing your kitchen to see if it's necessary to have this.

A Must Have Install Kit.

It has a quality made power cord, wire nuts, strain relief, water intake hose, 90 degree hose adapter, brass fittings and Teflon tape. With this kit, the installation of my new dishwasher was easy and I have had no problems with it at all.

And the cost is reasonable. Having the right connections- and the right tools - makes all the difference for a trouble-free installation!

He had the dishwasher install kit with him and got right to work. We are completely satisfied. The GE dishwasher works perfectly. We are excited to have this one. It runs so quiet!

My last purchases from Lowes' always required me to get a plumber and reschedule my delivery.
