In order to work on them one has to access the front, the sides, and the rear of the unit. On install, it's ok to have short cords, short supply and discharge hoses. However, when repairing a unit, it's great to be able to access the back w/out all those disconnections.

They were very good

It made the install seamless. The kit was delivered with the dishwasher making it a complete install package! I recommend replacing the old water line with a new waterline as the expense was low.

Here's why the review only gets 4 stars-- first, since it is a required unit, it should have been bundled with the dishwasher and not thrown in as an extra for more money. Second, guess what? It WAS bundled with the dishwasher, so I had to go back to Best Buy to return the extra kit. It would have been nice to know that I did not need a second one.
