    This is part of the washing machine order that is required by Best Buy to purchase or else Best Buy will not install the machine. The machine comes with hoses. The decision should be up to the customer. Best Buy should not required customer to buy. We already pay a lot of money as is.

    This was required for my washer installation. 6 feet is too long for my application (since the washer is 3 or 4 inches from the connections). The hoses don't have 90 degree angles, so the hoses stick straight out of the back of the washer, which means it must be pulled away from the wall more than if the hose had a 90 degree angle. I would have preferred a 3" hose with a 90 degree bend (like I had). I'm not pleased I wasn't given a choice.
