    Don’t just go with the plastic ones that might come with your washer. Don’t use the old ones you currently have. Safe yourself the self install when you buy these and the delivery team will install everything. I only wish they were more distinctively labeled for hit and cold. Having a red stripe or blue stripe is smart.

    Still baffles me how appliance companies can sell a washer and NOT include hoses! I've been caught by NOT using braided SS before. Never again. I also keep a spare set in the cabinet for emergency.

    If you are replacing an old washer you might find that these hoses allow you to back the washer closer to the wall compared to more rigid versions of old hoses. We're happy with the flexibility of these hoses compared to what was there before we installed our new washer.

    Always go the extra mile and use stainless steel. Galvanized is useless and rust's out quickly. Also, if your water line access is corroded, pay a plumber to install new ones before installing your new washer. Many new warranties will be voided if connected to bad water supply faucets and lines and installers will not install to them.
