They appear to be well made and should last a good long while. I always get nervous with rubber hoses thinking they will burst at some point.

These hoses will give me peace of mind for a number of years before I have to start checking them for wear issues and have to replace them. I use my washer 3-4 times a week so I need hoses that will hold up under frequent use.

If you purchase a dryer with a steam feature, add another pack of these. If your dryer is far from your washer, you need extended length too. My dryer and washer are kitty corner with the wash basin and water heater in the corner. I didn't have an extra hose kit or extended hoses available so the install guys couldn't hook up the steam feature of my GE dryer.

As a bonus you don't have to make another trip to the store to purchase them - just buy them when you get the washer at Best Buy.
